Rich Chambers' "Sorry Isn't Good Enough" - A Song So Many of Us Have Lived
An Infectious Crossover Hit with Wide Appeal.
VANCOUVER, BC, May 11, 2021 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Coming on the heels of his successful and socially charged rocker, "I'm So Tired," Rich Chambers' follow-up release, "Sorry Isn't Good Enough," is taking a decidedly different path. This mid-tempo rock/country/adult contemporary song (yes, you read that correctly--this song crosses into all three of these musical genres) explores that age-old feeling of regret that we have all experienced at some point in our lives. This universal theme, combined with an infectious crossover melody and feel, makes Chambers' "Sorry Isn't Good Enough" a song with the power to resonate across multiple demographics.
"While writing the song, I really wanted to touch into that extreme remorse that comes with a love lost, or should I say sabotaged, because of our own actions," says Chambers. "I think it is a situation we have all, unfortunately, put ourselves in at some point in our lives. I also knew that to truly make such a universal theme work, I had to do two things: 1, I had to never mention in the song what the singer does to cause such regret, which allows every listener to fill in his or her own blanks to complete their own story, and 2, I needed to come up with a memorable melody and arrangement that crosses over musical genres, and maybe even breaks them, to create a song that all can truly relate to in some way shape or form."
Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Chambers picked up the guitar at age 10 and wrote his first song at the age of 14. With multiple influences that range from Buddy Holly, the Beatles, Johnny Cash, to Green Day, and countless others, Chambers has released five full albums and achieved significant success worldwide with his music, including his standout 2020 'Santa's Rockin' Band' Christmas album. Rich Chambers may be considered an independent artist at the moment, but if he keeps releasing songs like "Sorry Isn't Good Enough," he won't be staying independent for long.
